The 5th International Conference on Advanced Algorithms and Signal & Image Processing (AASIP 2025) Successfully Concluded in Xiamen
On August 9, 2025, the 5th International Conference on Advanced Algorithms and Signal & Image Processing (AASIP 2025) was held in the beautiful coastal city of Xiamen. The conference was organized by Jimei University and fully supported by AiScholar’s comprehensive technical services. Nearly one hundred participants attended the event both online and onsite. During the conference, attendees engaged in in-depth discussions on cutting-edge fields such as algorithm optimization, signal processing, and image recognition. Through keynote speeches, oral presentations, and poster sessions, they shared the latest research findings and explored trends in the discipline’s development, providing an important platform for deep collaboration between academia and industry.
Opening Ceremony Speech
At the opening ceremony, Professor Gao Zhibin from Jimei University and Vice Director Fu Yuxi of the Fujian Zhongdian Straits Intelligent Equipment Research Institute delivered welcome remarks on behalf of the organizing institutions. Professor Gao Zhibin warmly welcomed all the experts and scholars attending the conference. He highlighted that this academic event provides a valuable platform for exchange among experts and scholars, expressing the hope that in-depth discussions will inspire innovative thinking and jointly promote the advancement of the discipline. Vice Director Fu Yuxi emphasized in his speech that the deep integration of industry, academia, and research is a key driving force for the development of intelligent equipment. He encouraged all participants to fully share their latest research achievements and explore further possibilities for collaboration. Both representatives concluded by expressing their sincere gratitude to the guests who traveled from afar and extended their best wishes for the conference’s fruitful outcomes. The session was chaired by Sun Yanglong from Jimei University.
